Welcome to HOPE
Picture it: two moms, sipping coffee at a kitchen table, sharing stories of their kids. That was us back in 2001 -- both of us at the beginning of our respective journeys raising children with special needs.
As we attended workshops, read countless books and surfed websites, we became increasingly aware of the need for parent support services…for parents to have a place to find not only reliable information, but also inspiration, encouragement -- even humor. We wanted to help empower parents in their job of raising exceptional children, and help them celebrate the joy in the journey.
With these ideas in mind, HOPE was born.
By combining our backgrounds and experiences in special education, parenting, and business, we began Helping Others Partner in Education by offering individual consultation and advocacy services.
Since 2001, our services have expanded to include workshops, contracts with schools and hospitals, and collaboration with therapists and doctors.
Still, our goal remains the same: exceptional solutions for exceptional families. As you browse through our site, we hope you will find the information and inspiration you need.
