Kathy Harter

I am uniquely qualified to advise and counsel parents as they pursue options to maneuver through the educational process. I was diagnosed with dyslexia early in childhood, at a time when educational resources and options were far more limited than we now enjoy. I was able to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Capital University and two Master’s Degrees from Ohio State. I served in a variety of advocacy roles over my career, at the state and federal level.
We have five children, each with unique educational needs. This experience has provided me with extensive personal experience working with school administrators and educators to access various resources for their education.
I enjoy serving as an educational consultant for HOPE Educational Consultants. This experience has allowed me to build positive, constructive relationships with educators and administrators at a growing number of schools throughout central Ohio. I am confident that I can help you and your child to optimize the resources to which they are entitled, so they can achieve their full potential.
