Advocacy, Information, and Inspiration for Parents of Children with Special Needs

We are professional educational consultants. Through our services, we facilitate positive, proactive communication and cooperation between parents of children with special needs and school personnel.

Advocacy for Children with Special Needs

Parents want what is best for their children. HOPE specializes in helping parents work effectively with schools to plan programs that help children with special needs learn and thrive. We help them understand their rights and responsibilities regarding special education laws under IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and 504 Plans under the American Disabilities Act. We foster collaborative relationships between parents and schools which enhance students’ success.

Information Based on Experience

Our understanding of special education procedures and best practices – combined with our professional and personal experience – creates a unique approach to advocacy for children with special needs with proven results.
HOPE is experienced in helping parents of children with special needs such as Autism, Dyslexia, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADHD, Pervasive Development Disorder, and mental illnesses. We work in concert with doctors and therapists to provide continuity of care.

Inspiration When Parents Need it Most

Raising a child with special needs can be both rewarding and challenging. We are dedicated to providing the support and inspiration to parents of children with special needs with the goal of empowering them to become effective team members in their children’s education. Our own experiences help us to understand the frustration and grief in this process, as well as the sense of victory in achievement – however small.

You are not alone! HOPE is ready to help. Please contact us today.
